Goodbye to a Friend **or** Career Day

There is so much that happens around here that I cannot possibly tell you about it. Some of the stuff happens so often that I don't register how much others may like to know about it, sine it is so normal.

Then there are days like today. I don't think this is normal.

Zach told the kids to come inside, and Maura said, "But we are building Mr. Beetle's grave!"

Yes, a little yard border stone. It has orange sidewalk chalk on it.

I guess Mr. Beetle got more of a mausoleum than a grave, if one were to get technical.

After they were inside, Maura stared singing, "Mr. Beetle died." She did it with a slow tune. She then said that if we found a Mrs. Beetle, and she died, then we could build her a grave, too.
