my kids

So I think I have covered that my kids are creepy. Maura mostly, but they both are worthy of a 'Shining' remake.

We listened to The Hobbit on our Iowa trip. Part school, part entertainment. They loved it and it is good literature.  

If you have not read The Hobbit, the character, Gollum, gets his name, because he clears his throat in such a way that it sounds like, 'gollum.'

About a week after getting home, I hear one of the kids coughing. She is coughing the word, 'Gollum.'

It is really one of the creepiest experiences from this child. Really. I will rent her out on Halloween if you want the chills....
