Finding God in Everything, pt. 2

So, I take it everybody has been thinking long & hard about Willy Wonka? Like I said, it's not a science, it's just how my warped little mind works, and if that doesn't scare you off, then you are a brave soul.

Now, Carlie & the Chocolate Factory was a little different in that there were a lot of examples. Some movies, there are just little things here and there. For example, the movie Knowing, with Nicholas Cage. Not a good movie. Not bad, just not good. They could have done a WHOLE lot better. And did you see Mr. Cage's picture from it? Not the looker from The Rock. Just an older guy with a receding hair line. Ew.

Sorry, the movie.

There is one line when the aliens come to take the people they have called. Nick's son was going to leave in the ship, and he tried to follow behind him. His son turned and said, "You can't go. Only the children can go. Only the ones that heard the call." Now, I do not believe in aliens (sorry, zach, but get over it), so I am definitely not making comparisons to God. But isn't what the son said true?

Only God's children. Not their earthy parents, grandparents, children or grandchildren, but only those who have become His children. Only they who heard Him calling to them and answered yes.

So, Cari put her bid in for Jurassic Park. Anybody else have a challenge? And, Cari, I do have an answer for you, but I am saving it. I can't put two movies to one post, can I?

Um, The Others? So I Married an Ax Murder? Labrynth? The Goonies! That should keep you busy for a while. Also I love the picture at the top of your blog.

I've never seen the movie, but I'm sure we can find God in just about anything if we look hard enough. So, Zach is an alien? Or does he just think there are aliens out there watching us. I learn so much reading these blogs...
By the way, I love your picture. The kids look so sweet. :)
