I guess I've been lazy lately. I have really neglected posting here. I have been writing articles, and of course there's the whole amily thing that requires time & attenetion.
We got sick a couple of weeks ago. Nothing major, just nasty, tired, snotty, cough-y, etc. I am still feeling rundown because of it, but each day gets a little better.
I have also been neglecting my house. Poor house. I am having more moments that I just wonder why I try to even clean it, because it's going to look just as bad in a matter of minutes anyway.
My wonderful brother & sis-in-law were over last week for a wee bit. They actually cleaned my house. Not the entire dwelling, but most of it. Kari actually cleaned the floors & baseboards, the kids' bathroom, and underneath the sink in the bathroom. While I am anal about my cleaning, it was so nice to have that done. I don't know if they will ever know how much I appreciated that.
We're having a family birthday party for the kids on Saturday. I like to make chocolates, and a special cake. I aven't done anything yet for it. I don't even know what I'm going to to. I'm sure I'll come up with something.
Oh, and if anyone knows how to clean a computer keyboard, PLEASE give me some tips - there was a spil (not on my watch...) and now the upper right keys are sticky... it makes typing very difficult.

Keyboard cleaning is not easy...but with the computer off, you can use a damp cloth to clean the keys. Of course if the spill went down into the keyboard, you are kinda stuck buying another keyboard for about $10. Sorry, wish there was a better answer! Of course, compressed air (computer duster) works great for getting out dust and crud, but sticky stuff is usually death for a keyboard.
We have an extra keyboard if you need one.
