Veteran's Day

I made sure to call and or text to those who have served, or are serving. My brother is in the Air Force, and both my grandfather and father were in the Marines.

Now, my father is a police officer, and a while back went to the FBI National Academy for some extra job training. This is relevant because he gives me FBI shirts. They are comfortable.

I was at Sam's Club on Thursday, and while there I had to stop off at the pharmacy. The pharmacist was writing some stuff down and saw my shirt. She asked if worked with the FBI, and I said no and explained about my father.

She said ok, and reached beneath the counter and brought something up. She said they were giving them to all the veterans who came in that day, and I can give it to my father.

How thoughtful of Sam's Club. . .

It was a collapsible blue cane! I was trying so hard not to laugh. I thought that was the funniest thing. And even though it was almost 8pm, I took it over to my father, just to give it to him - it was a great day!
