new project

Please tell me I am not the only one who will start an involved project, only to stop and wonder why I didn't think this through better first.

I decided to ignore the laundry, dishes, clutter and trying to find out why my tap water won't go above tepid, and instead started assembling a doll house.

This a wooden doll house that I had received for Christmas at least 20 years ago. It never got put together, except for the the first part of step 1 (I think), which would explain why I am missing a few pieces.

I am not putting my heart and soul into it, but I love this kind of thing, and it was free from my parent's basement, and I;m sure it will get lots of use before it is disassembled by my children.

Here is where I am at now. I hope to have it finished by the end of the weekend at the latest. I'll let you know.....
