So, Maura has decided to swim without her floaties. She is actually pretty got it. She starts out well, then skins under, but she's grinning & opens her eyes, and eventually she'll come up for air and go back down!
I am very proud of her and cannot wait until next summer when I don't even have to be close for her to swim without the floaties. Whenever we go to the pool, she says w're going to swim lessons. The best part is that when she swims around for a bit, she will ask, "What do you want me to do now, mommy?" I will savor those words, knowing they probably won't last long!
