In my Bible study we have been going through the Excellent Wife. If you ever want to know what you are doing wrong as a wife, read this book.
Seriously, it is very good and has been helpful in many ways. Convicting, yes, but very good for marital improvement.
The reason I am bothering telling you so, is that there was a portion about working outside of the home. I will not go into the details, but Zach & I believe we are in God's will with my job position.
I am the Sunday Director at church. I recently accepted the position of Elementary Director. It was a big deal to me, since I had a lot to think about and ultimately make a decision if/when offered.
I am very thankful that I have a husband who supports me in this, and that my children are old enough to make it easier. I have a huge learning curve ahead of me, and am already in the throes of the first major event (which I guess I accidentally talked myself into before I was in the new position).
So, please pray for this to be a blessing to my family, to myself and others.
Oh, and that I don't jack up other people's kids the way I am probably jacking up my own!

Congrats! I'm glad you're taking the job. I don't think that working outside the home, depending on the circumstances, is outside of God's will.
